They played the Senators, the Islanders, and the Canadiens. They play Canadiens again tonight. The Bruins lost to the Senators 2-1 in overtime. it was a very close gain. Then they won against the Islanders. They beat them 6-3. they paid the Canadiens last night and won 7-3. They had Seven different players find the back of the net. I'm pretty excited for them because after they got the first game under there belts they have realized what they have.
This week the Boston Bruins play the Canadiens tonight at 7:30 and they play the Senators again on Thursday. I think they will beat both teams this week. It will be a good game on Thursday against the Islanders.Rich Peverley and Patrice Bergeron each had a goal and two assists to lead the Boston Bruins against the Islanders.

2011-2012 season
I think they will make another deep run into the playoffs. They predict them to make it to the play-offs. We'll have to wait until after all there games. They have the pieces to win another cup if they can all work together.
They only lost 2 players to free agents. They have almost all there starting line up back. They have two players that are expeinced and can improve that they signed. They are a young team that is determined to repeat the championship. They have to keep there heads ups and not think there regular season is going to be easy and play like every game is for the Stanley Cup.

2011-12 Schedule
There first preseason game is against the senators. They play September 21, 2011 at 7:30. Bostons Assistant General Manager Jim Benning said "they already have a plan for their goal crease when they take on the Islander." I think they will have a good season. They will make a deep run into the play-offs again. They have six preseason games.

Head coach of Boston Bruins
There head coach is Claude Julien. in his fourth season he brought the Bruins to top of the hockey club. he has brought them to playoffs every season he has has been head coach. he is 51 years old. I think he is one of the best coaches in hockey. He turned the bruins around made many fans happy. This was there first time winning the cuo in 37 years!!!
